I want to say to all that is considering or even trying to select a place to get their concealed permit or anything that pertains to gun safety or just shooting , this is the place to be.
This husband and wife duo is the best. Friendly fun and most importantly, there are very informative about their craft. They definitely made this a fun an interesting class.

My wife and I took this class recently and would highly recommend Home Front Freedom. The classroom atmosphere was light and friendly with a constant emphasis on the safe handling of firearms. The instruction was interactive and engaging, and no one person was singled out for demonstration or participation. On arrival at the range the same light atmosphere was augmented by a rigid focus on safety and muzzle discipline. At no time did we experience a compromise in this safety involving the group or individual. You may rest assured that safety at HFF is paramount. My one suggestion to anyone who wishes to take this class is to invest your time beforehand in familiarizing yourself with the safe handling, loading, and discharge of your particular weapon. No classroom experience can prepare you for the first time you send a round down range, and time and personnel constraints preclude intensive one on one instruction. Spend time at your local range and become comfortable handling your weapon, and this preparation will pay dividends when test time comes. All in all we had a terrific experience and have no regrets about our class at Home Front Freedom.

Erik and Lexen were amazing. They both possess a wealth of expertise and knowledge with an ability to make learning about firearm and firearm safety effective and fun. They absolutely reignited my will to train and research more myself. I will absolutely be back to attend more of their classes in the future!

The two reasons I took this class are:

1) A concealed carry permit is its own proof of character. To obtain a license in North Carolina, fingerprinting and background checks are required. These are routinely updated, so any unlawful conduct is flagged and the license can be rescinded. So every day, the license represents a fresh and up-to-date background check.

This is useful for a number of reasons, including interacting with law enforcement and purchasing new weapons. When engaging with law enforcement, such as during a traffic stop, providing a license to carry a firearm communicates to that officer that you are a responsible, law-abiding citizen.

2) Knowing you can defend yourself is incredibly empowering. Carrying a weapon and knowing how to use it safely gives you the confidence to face every day without fear of being a victim.

Best of all, you do not have to rely on others for your own protection. Police response time is not fast enough to prevent immediate danger, and a gun equalizes threats, whether you are five feet tall or a heavyweight wrestler, man or woman, old or young, disabled, outnumbered, or otherwise.

I highly recommend this class! At Home Front Freedom, they are extremely professional and knowledgeable staff and instructors. I brought my wife to this class and know this is the best training that she could have received (better than me instructing her). Proper knowledge of the use and safety of firearms should be number one priority if you plan on having a firearm at home for personal protection. I learned lots of things (I’ve been shooting in the Marine Corps for 20+ years). I’ll be sure to promote your class and services to all! The instructors at Home Front Freedom have a phenomenal ability to explain things in a variety of ways everyone understands. I’m greatly looking forward to taking more classes with you (very soon)!

I want to recommend this concealed weapons class to everyone. You will really enjoy the time spent and learn very valuable skills. The class was informative, well taught and ample time was given for hands on instruction. And WOW, they are even doing classes during the week to accommodate all people schedule.

I believe the right to bear arms was fine for anyone to exercise just not in my home. In light of certain events in my life I decided I may want to reconsider this. I registered myself and spouse for the concealed to carry class.
Two minutes into the training I realized I was in way over my head. I believe the Instructors realized it before I did. I was literally shaking when I had to hold a gun. I thought this is a huge mistake and I can’t do this.
The classroom instruction was very informative and well taught. I felt that even though I may never owned a gun at least I have learned a lot. After we ate the lunch that was provided to us it was time to head to the range in which for obvious reasons I was dreading. I have zero expectations to pass this at this point I don’t even think I was going to be able to hold the gun.
The safety provided during the class made me feel that at very minimal I would be that. While I didn’t feel I’d be successful I felt due to the classroom instruction I would be safe. I was satisfied in having the experience.
While at the range the instructors stayed with me the whole time. Not only providing more educational safety rules but teaching how to shoot. They worked alongside me the whole time. Guess what ? I actually shot the target not only did I hit it but I actually did well enough to pass.
At no time did instructors make me feel as if I want good enough. Contrary to that they were extremely supportive I felt like they wanted me to succeed.
In closing this I wouldn’t recommend this course to anyone who hasn’t held a gun. But with the great instruction received I was able to concur my fear. I many not carry a gun with me on a daily a basis however I can if I choose to. Without this program none of this would have been possible. I thank them 100% for providing me the ability to keep my family safe. There’s no price that can be put in that !

Erik and Lexen lead an awesome class. They are high energy and teach to the lowest denominator. They have excellent visual aids to include, power point, real firearms, SIRT pistol, dummie rounds and the much more. They have good quality rental pistols for students to use who don’t have their own. Overall wonderful course and well worth the money paid. I will be taking more courses from them soon.

I took the NRA Basics of Pistol Shooting class with Erik & Lexen. Would strongly suggest any of their classes to anyone wanting to increase their knowledge of firearm training or to the beginner shooter. They are very well organized and knowledgeable and make sure that all their students come out of the class with more knowledge. They make their classes fun to where you want to keep coming back!!! The thing I liked most about them is the fact they actually care about what their students get out of their class and not just a pay check.

My husband and I took the CCH class and it was awesome! Super Engaging, Fun and Enjoyable! I have been recommending this class to all my friends. Lunch was amazing as well. The team makes sure everyone understands everything, answers all questions, hands on help when needed, understanding and caring! You will walk away from the class understand laws, rules, do's and dont's, and so much more. Its def worth coming to this class. You wont be bored at all. At the end of the day, you'll be glad you chose this program to join!

I thoroughly enjoyed the Conceal Carry course. The instructors presented all of the information in a concise manner while keeping me engaged with their great personalities. I would highly recommend taking a course with them to anyone I know!

The Home Front Freedom Concealed Carry Handgun course is outstanding. Erik and Lexen and David are great teachers; they cover many topics in a comprehensive and clear manner. They follow a tight schedule but know how to make it fun and interesting. I would highly recommend this course.

This is the place to go for your concealed carry license in NC! Outstanding instructors. The course gave me the practical and essential knowledge that was exactly what I was hoping to gain. This is not the first CCH class I have attended. The instructors are very professional, knowledgeable, and full of energy. They made everyone feel comfortable, from newbies to experienced attendees. I would recommend this class to anyone.

I was sceptical about the course at first. I already have a concealed carry permit issued to me by my employer through the state but my girlfriend wanted to be able to carry and didn't want to take the class alone so we both went together. I was blown away at the energy and knowledge of the instructors. It was very obvious this was a passion for them and as a result we received excellent training from these guys. I highly recommend them and plan on attending some of their advanced courses in the future.

The instructors are very knowledgeable and are also great teachers. I thought that their approach to teaching was excellent and no nonsense without being over aggressive or militant. There is a heavy emphasis on creating a family friendly environment so there will be no cursing or talking down to anyone. Homefront Freedom is a great place to learn no matter your current skill level. I attended the NC CCW course and we had everything from experienced shooters to beginners and I'm confident that everyone who attended left with more knowledge than they started with. If your looking for a bare minimum "check the box" type of class look somewhere else because these instructors are dedicated to ensuring everyone leaving has a good understanding of handling firearms and the legality of doing so. Also lunch was great!

A great course. I didn’t think I could learn and be entertained for 8 hours but they did it. Information-packed and also a lot of fun. As a retired professor, I can recognize excellent teaching and these folks can do it. I will be back for other classes. Great job guys, and thanks.

Took my class yesterday with Erik, Lexen, and David. They are absolutely phenomenal. I learned everything I needed to know about firearms safety and CC laws so that I can safely carry while out and about. Would highly recommend this company to anyone looking to carry a handgun or brush up on skills.

Lexen, Erik, and David were awesome! Having a degree in education myself, I know it’s tough to teach 10 hours worth of material and keep people engaged. Lexen and Erik made it seem natural though! Loved the Jeopardy mini game!

Highly recommend. Very informative and high energy that helped get through 8 hours of training. Great instructors whom did an excellent job keeping us involved and mixing lecture, hands on, practicing, etc.

Very reasonably priced. $85 for class, gun rental, and ammo plus feed us lunch and provided snacks/beverages.

What an experience, I don't know where to start!

The instructors are just lovely people, and make you feel very comfortable around firearms. Safety is their main concern, and it's amazing how well they can handle a classroom of people with different levels of experience.

I have had some handgun training before, but I can easily say that I've learned so much from this class, and it is worth the money! Not only do they offer conceal carry classes, but more advanced classes as well. My wife and I will definitely be coming back for some follow-on training.

Took the conceal carry class and was dreading sitting in the class all day since I held a concealed permit in another state since 1994, however NC doesn't honor VA conceal carry so I had no choice. I enjoyed the class and actually found it very informative. I chose the right place to take the class and the instructors are good people and very knowledgeable. Looking forward to taking some of their other classes in the near future.
