Every Day Carry Intro (CCW)

Overview

Teaches the basic knowledge, skills and attitude necessary to carry a concealed pistol for personal defense.

Every Day Carry Intro / NRA CCW takes place in a traditional classroom and range environment. Course topics include: Firearm Safety, Basic Defensive Pistol Skills, Drawing from Concealment, Loading and Stoppage Remediation, Live Fire Range Training, and Mindset-the aftermath of a self-defense incident.

Students will receive reference books, take a NRA CCW Student Examination and receive a course completion certificate bearing the signature of the NRA Secretary and your NRA Certified Instructor.

There will be no state certification issued upon completion. This BASIC Course is open to the public.

This is an advanced course intended for experienced shooters. It focuses on the skills necessary for defending oneself with a handgun from concealment. If you are new to pistols, and/or the shooting sports, please consider taking a Basics of Pistol Shooting Course or our standard Concealed Carry Handgun Course prior to registering for this course.
